The General Plan Update process involved numerous community events and meetings and the completion of several interim documents, culminating with the creation of the General Plan. Housing Element Minor Modifications (November 2023)
The San Jacinto City Council readopted the City's 2021-2029 Housing Element on November 15, 2022 as part of the City’s comprehensive General Plan Update (the 2021-2029 Housing Element was first adopted in February 2022). The City has made minor revisions to the adopted Housing Element in response to comments from the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Edits shown only in track changes (including additions and strikeouts) were made prior to the City's original adoption of the 2021-2029 Housing Element. Changes made since November 2022 are also shown in track changes and highlighted in blue and changes made since April 2023 are also shown in track changes and highlighted in green. Community Visioning Workshop Material
The City of San Jacinto will host three Visioning Workshops throughout February and March 2019 to engage the community on the General Plan Update. Following the third Workshop schedule for March 28, 2019, we will prepare a Summary Report to document what we heard and the feedback we received at all three Workshops.
